A oficina pretende discutir os princípios das operações de paz internacionais, por meio da análise das diferenças entre o processo de manutenção da paz tradicional, a execução da paz e o fortalecimento da paz sob a Carta das Nações Unidas.

2. R2P – the Responsibility to Protect. Mandates and Rules of Engagement. Humanitarian Emergencies: concepts and terms. Catastrophes and Risk Assessments. International Human Rights and International humanitarian law for Peace Operations. Geneva Conventions. International law of armed conflicts.
